I received an email saying my Lower Columbia College account would be deleted. What should I do?

We will notify you by email if there has been no activity on your Lower Columbia College (LCC) Google account for more than a year. To keep your account active, simply sign in to it at least once each year.
What does inactive mean?
LCC determines accounts are inactive by looking at logins over the last 12 months. If you have signed in within the previous 12 months, then your account is considered active. Some people have set their email to forward to another account. They are still actively using their Google account even though they never sign in. You must sign in at least once each year in order to keep your account status active.
What happens after I received the email?
You have until the deadline to sign in and keep your account active. The account will be deleted if you do not sign in before the deadline. Once that happens, any data associated with the account such as email, documents, etc. will not be able to be recovered.
What if I received an email about my account, but I have been actively using it?
It is possible that your LCC email account was configured to forward or redirect messages to your personal account. Your official Lower Columbia College account ends in @my.lowercolumbia.edu. Double check that account.
I want to continue using my LCC account, but I forgot my password. What can I do?
Use LCC's online Student Portal to reset your password and regain access to your account.
